BREAKING... According to reliable sources in both the Michael Russo and Emily Jabbour campaigns, Hoboken can expect to see Jabbour as the next mayor of Hoboken. Minutes earlier, Councilman Michael Russo conceded. She will follow the outgoing mayor, Ravi Bhalla who did not endorse anyone in Hoboken although Jabbour had approved his policies for almost eight years. So the big day is here and there's going to be an outcome to this tremendously long and arduous Hoboken municipal election. It's a non-partisan race as two slates are vying to be a part of Hoboken City Hall led by council members Emily Jabbour and Michael Russo. The debate between the two was uneven with both candidates running into the wall at various times. All of that is background noise. It's a pure GOTV (Get Out the Vote) effort now. So Dawn Zimmer, the former mayor who saw big success with a big tent Reform Movement is back in town today on behalf of Councilwoman Emily Jabbour's bid for mayor. It's not clear if she arrived by pirate ship but maybe she's a chip off the old sailor block by way of the Catskills down the Hudson River. Does outgoing mayor Ravi Bhalla know where she is? That might be a security issue. No love lost there these days, far different when Zimmer endorsed Bhalla to replace her when she backed out of a third term bid. There's a ...

That is the burning question of Hoboken Election 2025 as polls are set to open tomorrow. After a dormant period in recent years, where the most vulnerable population in Hoboken's housing authority were no longer exploited with criminal vote buying schemes, questions are again surfacing about the specter of Hoboken election fraud. Is vote buying making a comeback in Hoboken? The questions are being raised after a period of election quiet after Frank "Pupie" Raia was convicted and sent to prison for a vote buying scheme snaring him and a number of other soldiers operating out of his Jefferson St. social club back in 2019. Some disturbing holiday festivities emerged last Tuesday prior to the Thanksgiving holiday and days before the Hoboken runoff election set for tomorrow. The photos from the HHA's Adams Street location proved to be a veritable landmine as questions swirl on possible vote buying or at a minimum influencing operations utilizing $25 gift cards handed out...
Turning for the Runoff stretch

The approaching lull with Thanksgiving this week sees no slowing of the mayoral and council runoff ahead next Tuesday. More people are lining up announcing their endorsements and offering words on behalf of their advocacy. The Ruben Ramos campaign council slate announced its support of Councilman Michael Russo for mayor while one BoE member called for a vote for Councilwoman Emily Jabbour, deeming it "common sense." Was it common sense to hide and then try to shovel ahead a $241 million high school down Hoboken residents' throats? Short memories or shorter runways as reported on the Hudson County View. On Friday, the Team Fisher event with Michael Russo reportedly saw a "good vibe" and a good time with the appearance of one former mayor. No, not Dawn Zimmer who is being presented as part of a last push for Emily Jabbour but allegedly Peter Cammarano, who lives not far from the Madison. A last push to the runoff features this Emily Jabbour campaign mailer with...
Ravi Bhalla, checked out but not forgotten

Ravi Bhalla, the lame duck Hoboken mayor successfully inserted himself to replace his former aide in a NJ Assembly seat and is unofficially checked out of the Mile Square City. He's moved on to self-promotion on X but didn't exactly see a warm welcome barely generating two comments as he congratulated himself celebrating the NJ Working Families party, a communist front group enslaving minorities to a future of bleak handouts in a state where affordability is code for giving the very people who made the state unaffordable control. Their power comes from redistributing your money not theirs. This scam has been going on for decades in the Soprano State. It's made New Jersey one of the least affordable, most expensive states in the country, trapping the poor holding their hands out for scraps from these "political leaders." The failed policies are recycled with another, succeeding trapped generation. The second comment is included: Hilarious. You begged to be part ...
