Unofficial: Emily Jabbour wins Hoboken mayoral election as Michael Russo concedes
BREAKING...
According to reliable sources in both the Michael Russo and Emily Jabbour campaigns, Hoboken can expect to see Jabbour as the next mayor of Hoboken.
Minutes earlier, Councilman Michael Russo conceded.
She will follow the outgoing mayor, Ravi Bhalla who did not endorse anyone in Hoboken although Jabbour had approved his policies for almost eight years.

Unofficial with about 74% of the vote, the Jabbour council slate appears headed to win the three council at-large seats with Caitlin Layson, Steve Firestone and Joe Quintero holding off a challenge from Liz Urtecho.
