Grist for the Mill Runoff Spectacular: Runoff endorsement and a non-endorsement

Former councilman Mike DeFusco, the undesignated but true victim of the Ravi Terror Flyer, announced an endorsement for the Hoboken mayoral runoff.

The former councilman and rumored County Commissioner (Freeholder) candidate of the future endorsed Councilman Michael Russo for mayor, the latest among a slew of recent council-type endorsements.

A Russo campaign email shared the news stating DeFusco's endorsement with the former councilman advancing a pet issue, "We advanced the European-style market at Warrington Plaza - an idea I championed, and one Mike defended behind closed doors when the administration resisted. When the projection opens, the city will see what real collaboration can achieve." 


As DeFusco weighs his political revival run for office, there's more endorsement chatter or in one case, a non-endorsement. 

Dini Ajmani who was a late challenger for mayor, invested heavily in an outsider campaign but came in fifth. A few noted that leap-frogging all the council candidates for mayor was a difficult task and it proved the case.
